Steampunk Military Student 1

Siham asked akuma_no_bara, whitelilly and myself to help out in the Steampunk Fashion show for AUSA 2009. I love steampunk junk, so I was really excited to do it! I had a lot of fun designing, redesigning, making, unmaking, remaking, and blinging this outfit hahaha.

My outfit is based on WWI/WWII military uniforms that I looked up, and a slight neo-Victorian, and other stuff that I enjoyed.

I had a lot of fun at the convention, even if it was kind of stressful. At the end, it felt like a job well done, which was a great feeling!

Outfit made of suede, pleather, and gold brocade. Properly lined in gold brocade as well.

Sorry my wig looks choppy in the back. It's not bad photoshop, it's because my hair is getting really long, and then I put the wig over it, but had to push my real hair down because of the hat, so my wig stuck out at really weird angles in the back;;;
